PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

This committee conducts Ethics and Arbitration Hearings regarding alleged violations of the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. Members must attend the Professional Standards training program presented by the Association to be eligible to serve on this committee during the current year. This committee meets on an as needed basis.

Grievence

This committee reviews written complaints from the general public or from others in the profession regarding the conduct of a member in a real estate transaction. Members must attend the Professional Standards training program presented by the Association to be eligible to serve on this committee during the current year.

Advocacy & RPAC

This committee monitors the legislation and public policy issues at all levels of government which affect private property rights and the real estate industry and maintain an awareness of community needs and activities within the EPCAR communities and report to the Board of Directors. They educate members on the role and activities of RPAC and develop a fundraising plan for voluntary RPAC contributions from members. They may screen local and state candidates for political office and may recommend RPAC fund distribution to the Board of Directors. This committee meets as needed or up to six months a year.

This committee works on reviewing and revising the association bylaws and association policy.

Professional Development

This committee provides feed back on timely, state-of-the-art, cost-effective, interactive and unique education which consistently meets the present and future needs of the membership, including alternate delivery methods to increase the member’s profitability. This committee meets quarterly.

This committee is open to all members, and plans annual tradeshow.

Community Outreach and Charity

This committee promotes and markets our community as a quality place to live and work and positions Realtors as valued community members in the consumer's eyes. Committee plans and supports EPCAR fundraising efforts, and other established beneficiaries. Committee Members attend and participate in monthly meetings and events. This committee meets on the second Tuesday of every month.

The Annual Golf Tournament Committee is responsible for organizing and executing an annual golf tournament aimed at raising funds for scholarships and the charity chosen by the president. This committee plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of this event, which serves as a platform to support deserving students through scholarships and contribute to a charitable cause identified by the president.

Scholarship

The Scholarship Selection Committee's primary responsibility is to review and select deserving candidates for the 4 scholarships offered by our organization. This committee plays a critical role in ensuring that scholarship awards are granted to individuals who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, leadership qualities, and a strong commitment to their community.
